-Just caught this from SLED today. Linden is moving on this, but in small steps. HTML Flash, and new media types are some of the most essential improvements needed in SL, as they help keep the student immersed in their environment and add more functionality to the prims.
-For example, adding HTML to a medical treatment devices, can provide an explanation of the treatment and increase its interactivity, such as a medicine, with a link out to a drug information site, including ones with animations and videos, using media such as Flash and no longer limited to just QuickTime.
*First, Static prim, which I think means that the streaming you can get with media, will include HTML.
*Second, Adding a Second Stream Per Parcel of Land, so that you can have more than one at a time and a HUD to play the media.
*Third, Extending HTML to Other Users, and onto a Prim
*Last, html is on each prim.
