Second Life, online 3D world and simulation learning environment
What: I are creating simulations for our nursing program, allowing student teams to interact with real life patient problems to augment clinical experiences in medical facilities. Students are immersed into a patient situation and required to respond with real time assessments and interventions. Adverse outcomes occur if mistakes are made. A debriefing is held at the end of the scenario.
